Project-River Food Garden

Port St. Lucie, FL

“One of the city’s most important”
-Mayor Shannon Martin City of Port St. Lucie

The River Food Garden will be a culinary destination, married to the local charm and ecological beauty of the St. Lucie River. It will offer a fabulous experience to the residents and visitors and will be Port St. Lucie’s social hub.

The City of Port St. Lucie, located on the East Coast of Florida is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States…

When they wanted to develop the beautiful St Lucie River waterfront as their prime recreational area for residents and visitors, they collaborated with SūDā in a public/private partnership, to deliver something that is spectacular with a focus on bringing people together for fun and entertainment in a natural environment.

The theme for the River Food Garden was created, a multi restaurant/bar venue on the waterfront and nestled next to other local attractions such as the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens, River Boardwalk, Children’s playground, Event Lawn, and Historic Homes. SūDā will build and have exclusive operations of the site for Fifty Years. True to its philosophy, SūDā has brought on award winning architecture firm Arquitectonica Studio to design the buildings and to do the landscaping and James Beard award winning chefs, as well as top designers, and artists to make a project that nourishes all the senses of the culinary and visual world.

The River Food Garden development plan includes seven dining and bar venues across the 1.1 acre site to include

  • 5,800 SF upscale restaurant with rooftop bar (also suitably designed to host special events such as weddings and parties); Farm to table, sea to table dining.

  • Waterfront tiki bar

  • Four casual food venues around a “Quad”, of roughly 1500 square feet each.

  • A main bar located in middle of the Quad amid the Quad food venues.
