Stacy Standley

Advises SuD on enrichment of urban communities, planned development and preservation of the environment.

Mr. Standley served three terms as Mayor of Aspen, Colorado and became the father of Aspen growth control. He was instrumental and a rallying voice for preserving the beauty of Aspen and preserving its historic nature against uncontrolled development with simple uncomplicated rules like preserving views of Aspen Mountain and Independence Pass. He created COPE - Community Organization for Planned Environment and became one of the most popular Aspen Mayors of all time. Mr. Standley was also the Vice-president of Sno-engineering, a ski and mountain environmental design firm, he was project manager for Deer Valley Utah, and Blackcomb B.C. Mr. Standley was director of the WWF (Worldwide Fund for Nature) Living Planet Campaign, 1997-2000, at the international secretariat in Switzerland, and was a director of the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies. He serves as Chairman, UNLV International Business Advisory Board. Mr. Standley holds a BS-Business and MS-Business from the University of Colorado. He and his wife, Chand, reside in Spanish Trail, Las Vegas and New Delhi, India.
